Monica Mohn has over 18 years of ballroom dance experience. She coached with the finest instructors in the USA, Canada and England, earning 3 "USA Dance" National Ballroom Dance titles and numerous dance awards. She is extensively trained in ballroom and social dances- competing in 14 ballroom dance styles and winning national titles in 9 of those styles. In addition to teaching private lessons, Monica works with groups in a variety settings and age ranges including:
"In my life, I can't remember when I didn't dance, as a preschooler learning my left foot from my right in tap and ballet classes. Dance lessons that lead to recitals on local stages, the glittery costumes, the toe tapping music, the audience of parents. High school and college brought dance line - more practices, more performances, exhibitions and competitions.
After college graduation with a B.A in Art, I took up ballroom dancing; slowly at first but it accelerated into a serious passion and pursuit of competitive ballroom dance, practices, performances, many competitions, numerous awards and wonderful experiences followed. And now the dance comes full circle, teaching others this joy, this passion, this wondrous experience known as "dance"!"
